Aniqua Nargis:A Role Model for young generation
An embodiment of empowerment to woman even in hijab, Aniqua Nargis is a young model for women, particularly young girls. She specializes in both soft and hard arts…..abstract art and taekwondo. Basically a primary school teacher, she has few years ago been declared “the best teacher”, besides earning over three dozens of trophies, medals and certificates for her excellence in fine art and martial art. Not only this, she writes poems ,short stories and articles since her childhood in prestigious newspapers like The Hindu, Azaad Hind and Akhbaare Mashrique as well as magazines, including Young Minds, Children’s World and Vanita (Hindi monthly). Recently she has been honoured as “A Litreary captain” and included in the list of 33 brilliant teachers for their stories and poems at national level writing competition held online under the aegis of Story Mirror. Her masterpiece poem awarded was “Sankalp “. Besides, she has also won “Ratne Hind” award in abstract painting from the hands of renowned sculptor Padam Shri R V Suttar, popularly known as the architect of Sardar Patel’s world’s tallest statue and gold medal in national taekwondo tournament. She is also an associate member of Women’s Manifesto.
As a symbol of women empowerment, Aniqua Nargis has been interviewed by different channels and is available on google. She has trained several students in art and craft and taekwondo. She often quotes someone’s line with proud: “Nothing is impossible in life.” She comes from an illustrious family of scholars, lawyers, doctors, engineers and professors of Bihar. Her father A U Asif is well known journalist and mother Dr Sabiha Naheed a litterateur and poet.
