When we talk about physical health , we are always concerned and vocal about ,  they know  what to eat what not to eat  what kind of exercise ,keto diet, low carbs, palates but mental health comes with a taboo and people always try to hide it, in fear of being judged by others , far from being aware most people don’t even take into consideration that the feeling of being sad or unsatisfied always is it just temporary or chronic uncured diseases.

The times today have become so stressful even for the younger generations , there can be many factors   like the desire to become to become popular in school , on social media applications like TikTok or Instagram , they don’t even realise that it is taking a troll on their mental health , apart  from the pressure to excel in their academic lives , which his put by the parents constantly.
We often forget that taking care of metal health is as much as taking care of physical health , maybe more important  because health conditions like stress may have an adverse effect on the  physical health as well. Educating people about mental wellbeing, however, is a battle in itself.
In recent years men have also accounted for 75% of completed suicides, which is currently the biggest cause of death for men under 50.

There is a section of society “MEN” who are programmed and bought up in a way to be strong ,basics of their gender , xthus when they cry or share their emotions it can be considered as sign of weakness by the society so they do not speak openly about their issues , but that does mean that women are not affected by the mental illness.

A report by the World Health Organisation (WHO) revealed that 7.5 per cent of the Indian population suffers from some form of mental disorder.
Every 40 seconds, someone loses their life to suicide ,worldwide

It is impossible for an individual to not have any negative feelings at all .We can only deal with problem when we are aware of the problem , thus being aware of our feelings and not  neglecting them in the rush of the work  is important.

So going by the dictionary  Mental Health is defined as “our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act”  and during the course of life our mental health can deteriorate which could be due to many factors,
*Biological factors such as genes or brain chemistry

*Life experiences, such as trauma or abuse

*Family history of mental health problems

Treating mental problems is difficult because it is not possible to take a thermometer and gauge the level or intensity of your mental health like the way it is done when we are physically sick  so taking heed of the first signs is important which could be
*Pull away from people and usual activities
*Having low or no energy
*Feeling numb or like nothing matters
*  Having unexplained aches and pains
 *Feeling helpless or hopeless
*Smoking, drinking, or using drugs more than usual
*Feeling unsually uconfused, forgetful, on edge, angry, upset, worried, or scared
*Yelling or fighting with family and friends

There are many myths which are related to the issue:
Children don't experience mental health problems.

# People with mental health problems are violent and unpredictable.
# personality weakness or character flaws cause mental health problems.
# There is no hope for people with mental health problems. Once a friend or family member develops mental health problems, he or she will never recover.

# Finding help for mental health cure is not as impossible or difficult as it is perceived by most of the people .

# Family and friends play a major role in supporting the individual .
# There can be cures like therapy or pills or meditation
# Most important is for the individual to seek help rather then living in the fear of judgments .
# The process of recovery requires patience, because it can take time to heal
# If you are clueless  and not aware about where to begin from , then use the power of internet ,
# Online portals like “National  Institute of Mental Health “  provides help line numbers where you can call or just give a text.
# It is also important that we as a society become more empathetic towards people suffering from mental health issues , rather than create a sense segregation for those people.
