Artist Aniqua Nargis ‘Ratne Hind’

For her excellence in abstract art, Aniqua Nargis has recently been honoured with ‘Ratne Hind’ 2018 by Aura Planet, an art group, conceptualised by well known curator Erum Khan besides being awarded a trophy at a national level exhibition, organised by New Delhi-based Nav Shri Art and Culture organisation. She is an associate member of Women’s Manifesto.

A rare combination of soft art and hard art, she is an art graduate and diploma in painting and teacher training as well as black belt and gold medallist in a national taekwondo championship tournament. She has earned a reputation of getting over two dozen mementos and trophies and more than three dozen certificate. She has specialized in abstract art and value-based painting revolving around nature, human, social and family issues.

Excelling in soft art and hard art as per her mother’s quote “Nothing is impossible in life”, Aniqua Nargis is always ready to accept challenges in life. Not confined to herself, she is keenly interested in transferring her skills in art and craft to the new generation as a teacher in a reputed educational institution Iqra Girls International School in the national capital.
